In 2009 Carestream Health had a legacy Dassault MatrixOne implementation for global PLM with Siemens Teamcenter Engineering for PDM / CAD file management.  They needed a modern enterprise-wide PLM backbone for the future and performed a comprehensive selection process.  Carestream Health chose Aras as the global PLM platform based on scalability, flexibility and extensibility as well as the 'no PLM license fee' business model.   

Carestream Health now uses Aras for enterprise-wide PLM processes at 15 sites in 7 countries and continues to use Teamcenter Engineering for CAD management.  By doing this Carestream has been able to contain/reduce license spending on Teamcenter and uses Aras for the high-user-count PLM processes.
