Lear select Aras as the PLM Platform for the future
In 2008, after a 5 year plus implementation, it was determined that the existing system was too difficult to configure for strategically important Lear-specific global product development processes (particularly complex configuration management and enterprise change management).
Lear selected Aras as the PLM platform for the future, branded as 'Lear Smart Execution System'.
Lear switched to Aras in 2009 and has continued to expand the implementation worldwide. Today, Lear has 2,400 plus users at 35 sites in 15 countries using Aras.
