SFrame - 3D Structural Analysis Suite

Do you run simple 2D and advanced 3D structural analysis?
S-Frame provides capabilities from simple 2D elastic analysis right through to advanced 3D non-linear analysis, all from the same simple user interface. The S-Frame suite is technically excellent and provides you with total flexibility for all your first principle analysis and design requirements.

A new level of usability to the Structural Engineer
A significant benefit of the S-Frame suite over other general analysis packages is its Windows based, simple user interface for the pre- and post-processing of structural geometry, loading, analysis and results. S-Frame also provides high graphical and analytical performance for large models including floor diaphragms, finite elements, vibration and dynamics.

Business Benefits

  • Reduced capital commitment through purchase of a single FEA solution to meet all structural analysis needs.
  • Improved model development and visualization for discrete groups.
  • Model creation internally, from external CAD packages or from Excel spreadsheets.
  • Optimised analysis path through capability to switch from 2D to 3D.
  • Access to unlimited number of the 50 node S-Frame Lite for performing small frame analysis jobs.
Who Could Benefit?
All structural engineers carrying out 2D or 3D analysis.

Product Detail

Sframe is available in 3 versions detailed below. All of these come with the same easy-to-use interface. Only the analysis engine options sitting behind the interface change with the different versions.

S-Frame Standard
  • Static linear-elastic analysis
  • Full FE analysis capability as standard feature
S-Frame Professional
  • Buckling analysis
  • 'True' P-Delta second-order analysis
  • Dynamic analysis (stressed and unstressed Eigen values)
  • Time-history analysis (base and nodal excitation)
  • Moving load analysis (includes multiple loads on multiple lanes or 3D paths, and influence line diagrams)
  • Response spectrum analysis (includes option to scale to code base shear and borrow signs from a dominant mode. Dominant mode can also be extracted and scaled to create statically determined design combinations)
S-Frame Enterprise
Advanced full Newton Raphson non-linear, iterative solver that can be applied to all the above static and dynamic methods. Ideal for the analysis of incremental loading and modeling of:
  • True cable elements, including pre-stressing
  • Cable nets
  • Tension only members
  • Compression-only members
  • List-off supports
  • Capped capacity members
  • Non-linear axial springs and torsional springs
  • Tension only supports
  • Compression only supports
  • Non-linear ground springs supporting hook and gap characteristics
  • Staged construction
